OUR MISSION
The mission of Stanox Technologies Inc is to develop user-friendly, efficient, reliable, affordable and adjustable speed setting devices that allow the owners of vehicles to set the upper speed at which a vehicle can go and thus increase security on roads and reduce the seriousness of injuries and material damages when accidents nevertheless occur.
DESIGN OBJECTIVE
The original intent of the design was to give parents a way to set the maximum speed that the young / less experienced drivers in the family could achieve when driving the family car. The vehicle speed limiter will not degrade performance while driving below the maximum speed setting and has a simple method of resetting to factory set limits when the parent is driving. Other applications in the trucking industry, rental car fleets, and law enforcement arenas, have subsequently been identified.
SOLUTIONS
Most of the studies call for the creation of major systems and infrastructures to provide remote adjustment of the speed of vehicles as they enter zones of limited speed. These types of systems are complex in nature and do not offer a short-term solution. On the other hand, the vehicle speed limiter could be on the market in months and be immediately effective in reducing the number of accidents caused by at risk drivers. In addition, when accidents do occur, lower speeds lead to significantly reduced damage and injuries. Since the relationship between speed and the extent of damage and injuries is exponential, the use of the vehicle speed limiter can dramatically reduce their related costs.
